Steve races pro4 mods out of Cheraw SC.  Florence Speedway is his home track but he also races at Myrtle Beach and Spl. events.  He began racing n 1994 in a Mini Stock at Florence Speedway. He started racing "because I have always enjoyed the sport. I also like to work on cars. A lot of my friends also were racing.

He got his first win in a Mini Stock at Florence in 1997.  In 94 he finished 13th in the points, 95 5th, 96 9th, 97 10th, 98 7th, 99 6th, 2000 6th, 01 4th, 02 3rd.  He won 6 races in the pro four class in 2002

The thrill of racing for Steve is being able to enjoy the sport he loves and entertaining the fans.

He is most proud of winning his first race.
