Austin started racing in 2006 in the Young Guns Class at Florence Motor Speedway because he's been around it his whole life.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning his first race in #61 Hair of the Dog Pontiac, 4 wins, 2 second place finishes and 1 third place finish.

The thrill of racing for Austin is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was when he came from 5th place and won.  He's most proud of his first win and earning the respect of his competitors.

Austin's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
