Jamie Griffin drives the #7 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Lexington, S.C. His home track is Florence Motor
Speedway but he can also be found racing at Hardeeville Motor Speedway.
He began racing in 1997 in Go Karts at
Sunshine Kartway because his Dad had raced all of his life and had wanted
Jamie to "take after him". His first win was in 1997 in Go Karts at
Sunshine Kartway. Career highlights include 2001 WKA Grand National Go
Karts, 2001 MMRA Super Mini Cup Regional Champion, 2004 Late Model first
race 9th Place, Finished second race in 9th Place, Finished third race in
5th Place, fourth race in 6th Place. Also running a Legends car and a Pro
Four car.
The thrills of racing for Jamie are the
speed and the excitement of it.
His most exciting racing moment was
winning the Grand National on the last lap. He is most proud of all of the
successes he has in the short number of years he has been racing.
