Danny is from Hartsville SC. he races Chargers at his home track of Florence motor Speedway. He also races at Myrtle Beach.  He began racing in 1993 because he loves speed. He first tan in the T&L division at Florence Motor Speedway.

He got his first win in 1999 in a charger at Florence. He was the 1999 Florence Motor Speedway Track Champion, and the True Value mechanic of the year.

Going fast and winning is the thrill of racing from Danny. He is proud of winning the NASCAR mechanic of the year in 1999 and using his fire extinguisher to put out another driver who was hot and on fire.
