Donny is from Kingstree SC. He races Late models at his home track of Florence Motor Speedway.  He began racing in 1993 in a street stock at FMS. He started racing be cause he was born and bred to it.

He won Points Championships in Charger and Mini stock at Florence.

Racing against Frank Sessons was his greatest racing thrill.

David Pearson is his racing hero.
