Donnie Harmon

Donnie is from Claremont NC. Hickory Motor Speedway is his home track, and he also races at Tri County Motor Speedway.  Donnie began racing in 1990 in a super stock at Hickory. He started racing because he had always wanted to.

He got his first win in a Super Stock at Hickory in 1994.  In 1994 he was the Catawba Valley Regional champion. in 1996 he was voted the Most Popular Driver, and was the Hickory Motor Speedway Super Stock Champion.

The fans are the thrill of racing for Donnie. He is most proud of his 1996 season with  20 out of 34 poles and 14 wins.
