Ralph races out of Hartsville. Florence Motor Speedway is his home track and he also races at Summerville. He began racing in 1999 in the T&L class at Timmonsville. He got his first win in a Cruizer Bruizer  at FMS his rookie year.

 1999 he races 1/2 the year and won 4 times. In 2000 7 wins 2nd in the points. In 2001 he got 6 wins and won the Cruizer Championship,  and in 2002 3 wins second on the points.

The thrill of racing for Ralph is the need for speed. Loosing control and getting it back and still finishing the race.     His greatest racing moment was in 2000 a head on collision and totaled the car and still managed to finish 2 nd.

Dale Sr and Dale Jr. are his racing hero's.
