Chris Black races out of Fountain Inn SC. His home track is Greenville Pickens  Speedway.  He also races at Anderson Speedway.  Chris began racing in 1999 in a Charger at Greenville Pickens. He started because he had "The NEED for Speed."

Chris got his first win at Greenville Pickens in a Charger in 2003.  The thrill of racing for Chris is the adrenaline pumping at the feel of the speed and the competition. He got his first win on his Daughters 5th birthday.  Racing enables his entire family to be together doing what they love. Working on the car in the pits and having supper together.

Chris won his first race on his daughters birthday. That is his greatest racing thrill. Winning in "something I built on my own." is the thing he is most proud of.

His most exciting racing moment was his first laps as a rookie.
