Jamie Passmore drives the #19 Charger
Class car. He lives in Greenville, SC. His home track is
Greenville Pickens Speedway but he can also be found racing at Anderson
He started racing in 1998 in the Charger
Class at Greenville Pickens Speedway because he'd always wanted to do it.
His first win was in 2002 in the Charger Class at Greenville Pickens.
Career highlights include 3rd place in the 2002 Points at Greenville
Pickens, plus 3rd in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2nd in 2002 at Anderson.
The thrill of racing for Jamie is going as
fast as you can and nobody will tell you to slow down. His most
exhilarating racing moment was when he was running 3rd at Greenville
Pickens in 2002 and two front cars got together and Jamie went by for the
lead and the win. He's most proud of his father's backing him, his
wife and children who also love racing.
Dave Allison was and now Curt Bosh is
Jamie's racing hero.
Of racing, Jamie says, "It's a lot of fun,
but it is so much work unless you have lots of help!".
