Brandy Newman

Brandy Newman drives the #87 Renegade Class car. She lives in Lilburn, GA.  Her home track is Greenville-Pickens Speedway but she can also be found racing at Douglasville Speedway. 

She started racing in 2003 in the Econo Bomber Class at Dixie Speedway because her father had been racing all her life and then her boyfriend started racing, so she had to start too!  Her 2nd race in September of 2003 she started 21st and finished 10th out of 31 cars.

The thrill of racing for Brandy is the adrenaline rush and knowing that she's the only female running side by side with a bunch of over aggressive guys!  Her most exciting racing moment was finishing 10th out of 31 cars. 

Her Dad, her boyfriend (Track Champion at Dixie Speedway) and Tony Stewart are Brandy's racing heroes.

Of racing, Brandy says, "The fear of the Lord is instruction of wisdom and before honor is humility!".
