Shane Gentry drives the #8 Charger Class car.  He lives in Greenville, SC.  His home track is Greenville Pickens Speedway but he can also be found racing at Anderson Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1989 in the Charger Class at Greenville Pickens because his friends were racing.  His first win was in 1995 in the Charger Class at Anderson Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Champion 2002 at Greenville Pickens and 37 wins!

The thrill of racing for Shane is the speed!  His most exhilarating racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of his 2002 Championship!
