Robert Horton drives the #97 Charger Class car.  He lives in Easley, SC.  His home track is Greenville Pickens Speedway.

He started racing in 1999 in the Charger Class at Greenville Pickens Speedway because it was his dream.  His first win was in 2000  in the Charger Class at Greenville Pickens Speedway.  Career highlights include 6 wins at Greenville Pickens and 1 at Anderson Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Robert is the competition.  His most exhilarating racing moment was being beat by his brother at the line by inches in 2001.  He's most proud of his first win.

Dale Earnhardt is Robert's racing hero.

Of racing, Robert says, "It's a lot of fun, you meet good and bad people, you find out who your true friends are.  You need time and money.....and lots of it!".
