Chris Chastain drives the #2 Sportsman Class car.  His home track is Greenville-Pickens Speedway.  He lives in Pelzer, SC.

Team members helping Chris are:  Larry - Dad, sons Mckenzie and Ricky, wife - Dawn.  Chastain Racing is the car owner.

Chris started racing in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at Greenville-Pickens Speedway because he liked watching the old drivers like Waltrip, Earnhardt and Labonte.  His first win was in 1991 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.  Career highlights include his first win in '91 and Shrine Race Champion 1991, first winner at Super Stock Class '93, '93 Shrine Race Champion, '93 Super Stock Track Champion, Newcomer of the Year 2007, Opening Night winner '07.

The thrill of racing for Chris is taking the checkered flag.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Shrine Race and Track Championship in '93 on the same night.  He's most proud of winning Opening Night '07 and having his son there to greet him first!

Chris's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
