Rusty Covan drives the #04 car.  His home track is I-20 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Modoc Speedway.  He lives in Lexington, SC.

Team members helping Rusty are:  Bobby and Brenda Day, Mom and Pop, Mom and Pop Taylor, Scooter, Clappy, Andy, Billy Cagle, Naylor Race Engines, Chris Steele from S & S Decals, Travis Jr., Levi, Catfish, Steve.

Rusty started racing in 1995 in the Pure Stock Class at Columbia Speedway and I-20 Speedway because it was a family tradition.  His first win was in 1996 in the Mini Stock Class at Columbia Speedway.  Career highlights include 60 Mini Stock wins, 1999 Mini Stock Champion, raced Mini Stock, Pure Stock, Open Wheel, Hobby and one Late Model race, finished 2nd in UMP State Points in 2005.

The thrill of racing for Rusty is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of keeping racing in the family.

Rusty's racing hero is Bobby Day.
