Drew Shealy

Drew Shealy drives the #27 UMP Open Wheel Modified Class car.  He lives in Cayce, SC.  His home track is I-20 Speedway.

He started racing in 1992 in the Mini Stock Class at I-20 Speedway because his Dad and brother always raced and he just took his spot.  His first win was in 1996 in the Open Wheel at Columbia Speedway.  His was the 2001 Open Wheel Track Champion at I-20 Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Drew is hard for him to explain, but it's the rush!  His most exciting racing moment was his first race at Cherokee Speedway.  He's most proud of the friendships that have come from racing.

Drew's racing hero is his Dad.

Asked what Drew would say about racing, he says, "Everything that they are willing to hear!".
