Stoney Jackson drives the #4J Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is I-20 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway Dirt Track.  He lives in Cope, SC.

He started racing in 1980 in the Stock Cars Class at Anitoch, CA as he was raised in a family of racers.  His first win was in 1980 in the Stock Car class at Watsonville, CA.  Career highlights include 1996 IMCA Modified High Deserts Speedway Track Champion. 

The thrill of racing for Stoney is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Track Championship.  He's most proud of his whole racing career. 

Stoney's racing hero is his Dad, Larry Stonewall Jackson.
