Jerry Brock drives the #52 Super Street Stock Class car.  His home track is I-20 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Gordon Park Raceway.  He lives in Gaston, SC.

Jerry started racing in 1984 in the Hobby Stock Class at the new Columbia Speedway because he'd always wanted to race since he was a kid.  His first win was in 1985 in the Hobby Stock Class at New Columbia Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Champion Hobby Stock Class at I-20 Speedway in 1988, Track Champion in Hobby Stock at Thunder Valley Speedway in '88, finished 2nd in Late Model race in 1990.

The thrill of racing for Jerry is the speed and it is like a fair ride all the time and the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race in June of '85.  He's most proud that he is always competitive and he can pass in traffic and he can run a consistent line around the track.

Jerry's racing hero is Cale Yarborough.

Of racing, Jerry says, "It can be a clean sport for you and your family if you let it.  It is fun to do and watch!".
