Jimmy Maness drives the #71 Hobby Stock Class car.  He lives in Augusta, GA.  His home track is I-20 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Gordon Park Speedway.

Jimmy's #71 car is the Orange and blue Chevy.

He started racing in 1985 in the Hobby Stock Class at Augusta, GA. Jimmy started racing because he had been racing motorcycles and then went to cars from there.  His first win was in 1959 in a motorcycle in Mobile, AL.  Jimmy was the Motorcycle Rider of the Year (Harley Davidson) in 1971.  1990-1995 Track Champion in Augusta, GA and the I-20 Speedway Points Champion in 1999 and 2000.

The thrill of racing for Jimmy is winning!  He's most proud of meeting great people in his racing career.

Dale Earnhardt is Jimmy's racing hero.

Jimmy can be heard saying, "That's racing!" and "Betcha"!
