Wade Ramsey drives the #1w Modified Class car.  He lives in Campobello, SC.  His home track is I-20 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bull Gap.

Wade's #1w is the yellow and red Chevy engine and Chevelle Chassis.

He started racing in 1979 in the Enduro Class at Riverside, SC because he'd been a fan for years.  His first win was in 1979 in the Enduro Class at Anderson, SC.  In 1999 Wade was 2nd in SC for UMP, 3rd in NC for UMP and 41st in the USA for UMP!  He had 2 wins in 2000 at Buffalo, SC.

The thrill of racing for Wade is winning and the strong competition!  He's most proud of having two sons that help him.
