Ricky Outz drives the #17 Super Stock Class car.  His home track is I-77 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway and Lancaster Motor Speedway.  He lives in Stanley, NC.

Ricky started racing in 1993 in the Thunder & Lightning Class at Metrolina Speedway because of his Dad.  His first win was in 1996 in the Thunder & Lightning Class at Metrolina Speedway.  Career highlights include his very first win with Joe Robinson and many more.

The thrill of racing for Ricky is having fun and winning.  His most exciting racing moment was when a friend jumped on the back of the car after a win and got thrown off in the mud.  He's most proud of coming back out after a 7 year break.

Ricky's racing heroes are Stick Elliott and Bill Elliott.

Of racing, Ricky says, "It's a fun sport but be safe because you never know when a wreck could occur!".
