Chris Crawford drives the #27 Renegade Class car.  His home track is I-77 Speedway and also races at Cherokee. 

Team members helping Chris are Becky Crawford, Bryant Crawford, and Chuck Tinker.  Chris owns his car. 

Chris started racing in '09 in a Renegade Class at both I-77 and Cherokee because he's been going to the track since he was 3 years old and dreaming of driving. He had his first win in '11 at Cherokee in a Renegade.  Career highlights include: 2011 First win, Flipped in 2010 (started in Aug 2009 and flipped in July 2010) '11 was first full year and a good year. 

The thrill of racing for Chris is the motor vibrating, the speed, and the smell of the fuel.  His most exciting racing moment was when I won by half a track and finished 3rd in points.  He is most proud of his parents: their hard work, giving me a chance to race, even though the hard times; flipping and losing everything and starting over.

Chris's racing heroes are Kyle Busch and Wayne Bell.

Of racing, Chris says, "Don't start racing because once it's in your system you can't stop."
