Larry Maxey drives the #55 Pure Street Stock Class car.  His home track is I-77 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lancaster Speedway.  He lives in Chester, SC.

Team members helping Larry are:  Dave Elliott, Wayne Hall and Stevo Grose. 

Larry started racing in 2005 in the Pure Street Class at I-77 Speedway fulfilling a dream as a kid.  Career highlights include finishing 8th in the 2006 Shrine race. 

The thrill of racing for Larry is just being there having fun.  His most exciting racing moment was at the '06 Shrine Race when he did a 360 degree spin in turn 4 and didn't hit anything.  He's most proud of owning his car, building his own engine and driving his own car.

Larry's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty.
