Chris Smith drives the #83 Super Stock Class car.  His home track is I-77 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway.  He lives in Charlotte, NC.  People who help Chris are:  Mom, Kenny, Dad, Davie, Dan, Ronnie and Travis.  Steve Caviness is the car owner.

Chris started racing in 1999 in the Rookie 4 Class at East Lincoln Speedway because his cousin, Jay Sessoms, #84 raced at Metrolina.  Chris's first win was in 2002 in the Rookie 4 Class at East Lincoln Speedway.  Career highlights include 1 Track Championship at East Lincoln in 2004 in the Rookie 4 Class plus 7 wins in 2004. 

The thrill of racing for Chris is winning over rich boys.  His most exciting racing moment was when he took the win for the Championship in the tear down shed in 2004.  He's most proud of all of his wins.

Chris's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Chris says, "It's fun but costs to much, but a lot of help could be used (hint hint)....I need sponsors!".
