James Davis drives the #MJ-2 Pure Street Class car.  His home track is I-77 Speedway.  He lives in Edgemoor, SC.

James started racing in 2005 in the Pure Street Class at I-77 Speedway because it's fun and exciting.  His first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include winning at Heat Race and Main Race and finishing 3rd in the Points.

The thrill of racing for James is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was the last race in '05 when he T boned Shorty Lacey.  He's most proud of winning the 4th place trophy in Points.

James's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
