Wayne Heatherly drives the #F1 Rookie Class car.  His home track is Sugar Creek Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Buffalo, SC.

Wayne started racing in 2000 in the Rookie Class at Buffalo Speedway because he started watching races with his Father and then decided to give it a try.  His first win was in 2006 in the Rookie Class at I-77 Speedway.  Career highlights include 2 wins at I-77 Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Wayne is the beat'n and bang'n.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win, of which he's most proud.

Wayne's racing hero is Michael Williams.
