John "Ghost Man" Tyler Jr.

John Tyler Jr. drives the #74 Stock Med/Hvy/Limited Class car.  His home track is Lake City Speedway/St. Matthews/Sunshine but he can also be found racing at Low Country Southern Kartway.  He lives in Lake City, SC.

Team members helping John are:  Heather, J T, Bryan & Jason Tyler, Kim Robinson.  Ghost Racing and Heather Tyler are the car owners.

John started racing in 1987 in the Rookie Class at Darlington because of his need for speed.....always!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Lake City $500 Stock Hvy July 2006, State SC 3rd place Rookie in '89.

The thrill of racing for John is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was barrel rolling July 4th at Conway in 1991.  He's most proud of building their parts trailer and his Go-Kart, the Recluse.

John's racing heroes are Rusty Jones #27 and Scotti Cagle #50.
