Liz Assey drives the #9 Purple Plate Class car.  Her home track is Lake City Speedway.  She lives in Georgetown, SC.

Team members helping Liz are:  Reed "Bubbi" Bryan Jr., Brad Prince, Kevin Wilcox, Duece Maher.  Capt. Norman Assey Jr. is the car owner.

Liz started racing in 2006 in the Purple Plate Class at Lake City Speedway.  Liz met Sarah Fisher with the Indy Racing League and that got her interested.  This year she met Danica Patrick with the Indy Racing League and she encouraged Liz also.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd twice in Purple Plate at Lake City Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Liz is speed, speed, speed!  Her most exciting racing moment was first time on the track and realizing she could do it and how much fun it was.  She's most proud of her trophies and making her Dad proud.

Liz's racing heroes are Danica Patrick and Sarah Fisher.
