Roger Cooper

Roger Cooper drives the #05 Pure Stock Class car.  He lives in Lancaster, SC.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he also races at Carolina Speedway and Chester Speedway.  Roger's #05 is the blue, yellow and orange Chevy Monte Carlo.

Roger started racing in 1990 in the Mini-Stock Class at Lancaster Speedway as a hobby.  His first win was in 1995 in the Mini Stock Class.  His highlights are anytime he's won and the Car Shows that he's won.

The thrill of racing for Roger is the speed!  He's proud of the devotion of the friends he has gained over the years.  

Roger's racing hero is Carl Brownell, which is where the #05 comes from.

Of racing, Roger says, "I eat racing, sleep racing, drink racing and live racing!".
