Donnie "Big Orange" Snipes

Donnie Snipes drives the #0 1/2 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Lancaster, SC.  His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway.

Team members helping Donnie are:  Buck Snipes, Mikey Hough, Steve Cauthen, JoJo Cervantes.

Donnie started racing in 1978 in the Street Division at Lancaster Motor Speedway and I-77 Speedway because it was his Dad's dream to see Donnie reace.  Career highlights include his first race when he was 14 years old and finished 4th.  That was 24 years ago and he has now started racing again in Pure Street.

The thrill of racing for Donnie is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was his first Heat race win.  He's most proud that he's always kept his family and church first and racing second.  His wife, Darla and son, Buck, are always with him.

Donnie's racing heroes are Tim Richmond and Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Donnie says, "You better have a lot of money and a lot of people to give it to ya!".
