Joey Black drives the #12 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway.  He lives in Rock Hill, SC.

Team members helping Joey are:  Eddie Black, Joe Allen, Jamie Howell, Kim Epps, Kenny Ramsey, Marty Hinson, Ben Watkins, James Hargett, Ed Watkins, John Kline, Andy Blackwood, Mickey Deal, Mike Allen, James Black, Darrell Black and Mickey Howell.  Eddie Black is the car owner.

Joey started racing in 2006 in the Street Stock Class at Lancaster Speedway because his Dad used to race and he's always enjoyed being at the track.  Career highlights include that this is his first season and he's just getting some seat time.

The thrill of racing for Joey is the sound of the engine.  His most exciting racing moment was when he was sitting 3rd after a caution in his 2nd race, Brandy Baker was 2nd and Mike Harrington was leading.  He's most proud that his friends have helped him every step of the way.

Joey's racing heroes are his Dad, Eddie Black and Carl Edwards.

Of racing, Joey says, "It's not as easy as it looks from the stands but it sure is a thrill!".
