Michael races street stock and super stock out of Lancaster SC. Lancaster Speedway is his home track. He also runs Carolina and Chester.  Michael began racing in a stock 4 at Lancaster Speedway in 1998 He got his first in in the third race he ran.

One of his career highlights is that in one year, at two different tracks he won all but 9 races.

 Winning is the thrill of racing for Michael.  His greatest racing thrill was winning. He is most proud of running a super stock at 13.
