Ray Cagle Jr. drives the #16 Late Model Class car. He lives in Eastover, S.C. His home track is Sumter Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Lancaster.

He began racing in 1990 in Late Model Class at Sumter Speedway because of  the family history of racing cars. He raced Go Karts growing up. His first win was in 1990 in Late Model Class at Sumter Speedway.

The thrills of racing for Ray are the competition of the racers he races with and trying to win races against tough competitors. No one racing moment stands out  for  Ray. He has won several races in the past at several different tracks.

His racing hero is Alan Kulwicki.
