Sammy Carter drives the #18 Modified 4 Class car.  He lives in Waxhaw, NC.  His home track is Lancaster but he can also be found racing at Gaffney, Carolina Speedway, Sugar Creek and Thunder Valley.

Sammy's #18 car is the blue and silver Ford Mustang, 4 Cyl.

He started racing in 1991 in the Stock 4 Class at Lancaster Speedway because of his Daddy.

Sammy's first win was in 1992 in the Stock 4 Class.  Career highlights include 3 Stock 4 Championships at Chester, 1 Modified 4 Championship at Chester, 1 Modified 4 Championship at Lancaster and a total of 60 wins.  He's most proud of his total wins and championships.
