Bobo Simpson drives the #23 Pure Street Class car. His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway, but can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway. He lives in Lancaster, SC.

Team members helping Bobo are: Joe Cook, Buck Wallace, Gabe Hill, Allen, Dave, Jody Bigham, and Jamie Rollings. Bobo Simpson and Wally Cook are the car owners.

Bobo started racing in 1993 in the Pure Street Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway because it was a family tradition. His first win was 2001 in the Pure Street Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway. Career highlights include many feature wins at Lancaster Motor Speedway, Pepsi Championship, Cawthen Motors State Shootout, Stock Car Nationals, and Point Champion in 2002.

The thrill of racing for Bobo is the adrenaline rush he gets from going wide open and turning left. His most exciting moment was his first win. He is most proud of  the friends he has made over the years and those darn hard to come by wins.

Bobo's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
