Ryan Whitaker drives the #24 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway.  He lives in Lancaster, SC.

 Ryan started racing in 1998 in the Pure Street Stock Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway because he needed a way to spend some extra money and says he was stupid!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include multiple wins with Chris Whitaker, his brother, doing engine work and repair work to "Ole Smoke".  He finished 5th in the Super Stock Points in 2000 and third in Pure Street in 2002.

The thrill of racing for Ryan is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was his first racing win.  He's most proud of taking "Ole Smoke" to the front and making the boys cry week after week.

Ryan's racing hero is Tommy Brownfield.
