Ron Leavitt drives the #31 Lawnmower.
His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway. He lives in Charlotte,
Ron started racing in 2005 in the
Lawnmowers Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway because he has always loved
racing and this was an inexpensive way to get on the track. Career
highlights include 2 second place finishes in 2005 at Lancaster Motor
Speedway in 2005 and 2nd place finish at the first race in 2006 at
Lancaster Motor Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Ron is the
speed and competition. His most exciting racing moment was losing
all brakes in the lead with 2 laps to go. He's most proud of
building his mower and doing fairly well with it.
Ron's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Ron says, "Life is to short
to be miserable, have fun!!!".
