Shaun Medlin drives the #s45 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway and Carolina Speedway.  He lives in Monroe, NC.

Team members helping Shaun are:  J R Yandle, David Yandle, Jeff Medlin, who is the car owner.

Shaun started racing in 2002 in the Super Stock V8 Class at East Lincoln Speedway because he thought it would be fun.  His first win was in 2003 in the Super Stock at East Lincoln Speedway.  Career highlights include first win at East Lincoln Speedway, finishing 3rd, out of 21 cars, in his first race at Carolina Speedway, finishing 4th in the Points in 2005 at Lancaster Motor Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Shaun is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first race.  He's most proud of his first win.

Shaun's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
