Andy Blackwood

Andy Blackwood drives the #57  car.  He lives in Rockhill, SC.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Pure Street Stock Class at Chester Motor Speedway. He got the "fever" after growing up helping  Paul Croft and Smokey Gaskins. He  figured "why not?".  His first win was that same year.

Andy was the 1995 and 1996 Pure Stock Champion at Chester Speedway. In 1997 he was the super stock Champion at Chester. In 1998 he was second in the points in T&L at Chester.   2004 and 2005 Brought  Andy  the Late Model Championships at Lancaster.

The thrill of racing for Andy is passing on the outside!  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Shrine Race at Lancaster on the last lap pass.  He's most proud of his 4 Track Championships and keeping his cool. .

Paul Croft is Andy's racing hero.
