Ed Watkins drives the #70 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-77 Speedway and Carolina Speedway.  He lives in Rock Hill, SC.

Team members helping Ed are:  Chris Steele, Chris Young, Ed Watkins, Ben Watkins, Billy Kimbrell, Bryan Steele, Sherrill Mun, Shannon Munn.  Dennis Terry is the car owner.

Ed Watkins started racing in the Super Stock Class at Lancaster Speedway in 1987.  His first win was in 1989 in the Street Stock Class at Metrolina Speedway.  Career highlights include Points Champion in 1998 and 1999 at Lancaster Speedway in Super Stock.

The thrill of racing for Ed is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was at Metrolina Speedway taking Super Street Stock car and winning in the Thunder & Lightning Division.  He's most proud of being looked up to, especially by the kids.

Ed's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Ed says, "You won't find a ride like it anywhere at any amusement park in the country!".
