Nick Estes drives the #12 Street Stock
Class car. His home track is Lancaster Speedway. He lives in
Rock Hill, SC. People who help Nick are: Crew Chief - Marion
Estes, Pit Crew - Barbara Thatcher, Red Campbell, Chris Carpenter, Mickey
Deal, Kathy Estes and Raymond Brown.
He started racing in 1999 in the Pure
Street Class at Chester Speedway because he was born and raised into it.
His first win was in 2001 in the Pure Street Class at Chester Speedway.
Career highlights include winning 2 races, one at Chester and one at
Lancaster, voted Most Improved Driver of the Year in 2003 and finished 5th
in the Points Championship in 2004.
The thrill of racing for Nick is the
competitiveness of racing. His most exciting racing moment was
putting a doughnut on the side of Timbo Mangum. He's most proud of
outrunning driver twice to three times his age that have been racing
longer than Nick has been alive.
Nick's racing hero is Rooster Ghant.
Of racing, Nick says, "Racing is not just
