Pat Lindsay
#89
Pat Lindsay drives the #89 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Gastonia, NC. His home track is
Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lancaster Motor
Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway.
He started racing in 1997 in the Late
Model Class at Carolina Speedway because he had always worked on cars and
because of his Father, Bobby Lindsay. His first win was in 1998 in
the Late Model at East Lincoln Speedway. In 1998 he won the Sun Drop
100 at East Lincoln Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Pat is a good
finish. His most exciting racing moment was in 1988 when he drove
Doug Sanders 6 Cyl car on a whim. He had never raced a car...22 cars
started in the Main. He won the Heat race and the Feature.
He's most proud of what he has learned in 7 years and he is still
learning.
Pat's racing hero is his Father, Bobby
Lindsay.
Of racing, Pat says, "Family affair,
exciting, safe and fun!".
