Rusty races  Pure Street out of Concord NC. Lancaster Speedway is his home track but he also races at Chester. He began racing in 2002 in a pure street. The first race track he ran on was Lancaster.  Rusty had been around racing all his life, and decided it was time to drive.  He got his first win in the Pure stock class his rookie year at Lancaster Speedway.

Rusty won 2 features and three heat races his rookie year. He also won the rookie of the year at Lancaster Speedway.

Winning is the thrill of racing for Rusty. Winning his first race was his greatest racing thrill. He is most proud of winning rookie of the year.

Richard Petty is his racing hero.
