Kevin Blackwell

Kevin Blackwell drives the #B2 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway, Cherokee Super Speedway and I-77 Speedway.  He lives in Lancaster, SC.

Team members helping Kevin are:  Lewis Blackwell, James Blackwell, James Stogner, Jason Sutton, Mudcat and Jerry Lark.

Kevin started racing in 1995 in the Pure Stock Class at Lancaster Speedway because he loved the competition.  His first win was in 1996 in the Stock 4 Class at Lancaster Speedway.  Career highlights include 3 time Pure Stock Point Champion - Lancaster Speedway in 2000 and 2004 and I-77 Speedway in 2001, winner of the Shrine Race in 2001 and the Budweiser Race in 2001, and over 56 Career wins.

The thrill of racing for Kevin is taking the checkered flag. His most exciting racing moment was his first Crate Late Model win in 2005.  He is most proud of being able to be competitive with a very limited budget.

Kevin's racing hero is Jeff Knight.
