Jimmy Cook drives the #J5 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Rock Hill, SC. His home track is Lancaster Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Street Stock Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway because it is a good hobby to spend time with your family. 

The thrill of racing for Jimmy is the adrenaline rush of competition, a natural high.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he set in a car and felt the power of being in control.  He's most proud of being able to come the track and have other drivers recognize who you are and kids come to talk about racing.

Jimmy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Jimmy says, "If you got the time to come to a race, go for it, you won't be disappointed!".
