Phillip Wilson

Phillip Wilson drives the #04 Pro 4 Class car.  He lives in Laurens, SC.  His home track is Laurens Speedway but he can also be found racing at Sugar Creek and Buffalo.

Phillip's #04 car is the white and blue Ford Mustang 2340 cc.

He started racing in 2000 in the Rookie Class at Sugar Creek because that is what he had lived for since he saw his first race.  His first win was in 2001 in the Rookie 4 Class at Laurens Speedway.  His career highlight was coming from dead last and winning (his first win) and repeating the following week with a 2nd win.

The thrill of racing for Phillip is the adrenalin rush.  His most exhilarating racing moment is racing 4 wide on the track.  He's most proud that he built his own car from the ground up.

The 2003 racing season is dedicated to the memory of Frankie Johnson. He is missed and loved!!!!!

Dale Earnhardt is Phillip's racing hero.
