Michael Simmons

Michael Simmons drives the #101 Pro 4 Class car.  He lives in Joanna, SC.  His home track is Laurens Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Mileback Speedway.

Team members helping Michael are:  Reggie Frzier, Tommy Baker, David Baker, Larry Teal, Harold Heilly, Brandon Sumers, Lil Man Tranell.

He started racing in 2003 in the Rookie 4 Class at Laurens Speedway because he's always watched  and decided to give it a try.  His first win was in '05 in the Pro 4 Class at Laurens Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Michael is being out in front and knowing everyone wants to be where you are.  His most exciting racing moment was his first race.  He's most proud that he's had a lot of fun and made a lot of good friends.

Of racing, Michael says, "It's addictive!".
