David Baker

David Baker drives the #10 Pro 4 Class car.  He lives in Newberry, SC.  His home track is Laurens Speedway.

David's #10 car is the red and white Ford Mustang.  

He started racing in 1996 in the Rookie 4 Class at Laurens Speedway because it is a family thing.  His first win was in 1997 in the Rookie 4 Class at Buffalo Speedway.  Career highlights include 1999 Pro 4 Track Champion, Shrine Race Winner in 2000 in Pro 4 and James Burdett Memorial Winner in 2000.

The thrill of racing for David is taking the checkered flag first!  His most exhilarating racing moment was when he won the Shrine Race in 2000.  He's most proud of winning the 1999 Track Championship and making his Dad proud!

David's racing hero is his brother, Bo Baker.
