Franky Coates drives the #21 Super Late Model Class car.  Franky lives in Hodges, SC. His home track is Laurens County Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-20 Speedway and Mileback Speedway.

Team members helping Frank are:  Johnny Coates, Marty Medlock, Chris Matthews, Cory Winn, "Big John" Davenport, Greg Simons, Cory Burgeson, Al Timmerman, Kenny Winn, Jack Bobo, Lee Davenport, Josh, Warren Martin.  Franky and Johnny Coates are the car owners.

1980 marked the beginning year of Franky Coates racing career. He started in the Limited Stock class at Newberry for the love of racing. His first win was in 1982 in the Late Model Class at Thunder Valley Raceway.  His career highlights include: 1992 and 1993 Track Championship Thunder Valley Raceway in Late Model, 3 consecutive years (1997-1999) as Track Champion at Laurens County Speedway in the Super Late Model division and winning the Coca Cola Thirst in 2004.

Franky loves the speed and thrill of racing.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Coca Cola Thirst for $10,600!  He's most proud of his Track Championships.
