Ray Allen Emery II

Ray Emery II drives the #44 B-Hobby Class car.  Ray lives in Laurens, SC.  His home track is Laurens County Speedway.

He started racing in 2000 in the B-Hobby class. When asked why he started he simply stated, "My father races, I wanted to keep it a tradition and friend races also."  His career highlights are: 2nd place finish at Laurens Speedway and finally racing something that is all his own as he built it from the ground up.

The thrill of racing for Ray is to be able to control something that is out of control.  His most exciting racing moment was when he finished his first race.  He's most proud of driving a car that he built himself.

Ray's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Ray says, "You only live once so accomplish as many goals as possible!".
