Mikey Lawson drives the #5 Hobby Class car.  His home track is Laurens County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Mileback Speedway.  He lives in Clinton, SC.

Team members helping Mikey are:  Eugene Tucker, Gene Tucker, James Baher, Larry Boggs.  Eugene Tucker is the car owner.

Mikey started racing in 2005 in the Hobby Class at Laurens County Speedway because he grew up helping work on race cars and was always at the track. 

The thrill of racing for Mikey is the rush of energy he gets when he's behind the wheel of the on the track.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first Heat Race.  He's most proud that he collects more knowledge about cars and how they run.

Mikey's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
